Fiera Bolzano

ProWinter Outdoor

In 2024, Italian Outdoor Group established a partnership with Fiera Bolzano to develop a project dedicated to the outdoor sector. The agreement was expanded in 2025 with the involvement of MagNet, giving rise to Prowinter Outdoor, a new format within the Prowinter trade fair entirely focused on the winter outdoor world.

The goal is to broaden the event’s offering, historically focused on the ski and rental sector, by engaging the entire outdoor community and providing new opportunities for visibility, networking, and business.

Outdoor & Running Business Days

The Italian Outdoor Group of Assosport boasts a solid and long-standing partnership with Outdoor&Running Business Days (ORBDAYS), Italy’s leading event dedicated to the outdoor and running sectors. Built over the years, this collaboration serves as a benchmark for member companies and the entire industry, promoting growth, innovation, and internationalization.

IOG Area

Piazza IOG was created as an initiative aimed at establishing a focal point within the sector’s key trade fairs, such as ProWinter Outdoor and Outdoor&Running Business Days, which are dedicated to industry professionals.

It is a physical space for inspiration, networking, and engagement, open to companies, retailers, and the media. The area is animated by a program of meetings and technical presentations organized by leading brands, designed to inform and inspire the large audience of industry professionals.

Outdoor Value Group

A new alliance to protect real value

GVO – Gruppo Valore Outdoor is the name of an alliance between industry and distribution, created to promote initiatives with the shared goal of protecting the value of outdoor brands and specialized retail banners.

In an increasingly competitive and sometimes chaotic market, the GVO alliance serves as a model for self-regulation in industry–distribution relations, with a program of activities aimed at raising awareness among end consumers on topics such as end-of-season sales management, conscious purchasing, the importance of technical innovation, and the sustainability of products offered by the leading brands in the outdoor industry.

The GVO alliance, established in 2022, now includes many of the leading brands and distributors in the outdoor industry, such as AKU, SCARPA, C.A.M.P., FERRINO, FIZAN, GARSPORT, JV INT. (SOLES BY MICHELIN), LA SPORTIVA, MASTERS, MGM (KAYLAND, TREZETA), NOV.ITA, SALEWA, PANORAMA DIFFUSION, STECOLFLEX (REDELK, SPORTSPHERE), VIBRAM, as well as a growing number of retailers engaged in the group’s first initiative: a communication campaign focused on the end-of-season sales calendar.

With this claim, the first initiative promoted by GVO – Gruppo Valore Outdoor was launched: a communication campaign aimed at raising awareness among end consumers about the sales calendar, which is currently scheduled too far in advance compared to the actual end of the season.

This situation undermines the value of products on one hand and leads to a substantial loss of profit for retailers on the other, at a time of year when seasonal products have not yet fulfilled their true purpose.

The initiative was launched during the 2022 winter season.
