At first, we talked about lizards, ants and caterpillars, all animals capable of overcoming gravity without wings. But then we came to think that the concept should be to synthesise an element that could symbolically represent the climbing man, but also nature, which in this case had to encompass and surround the intellect, and not only that, of that man. And so a section of that superhuman hand was born, a fusion between the phalanges of a man and those of a gecko, a prehistoric and magical reptile capable of walking on walls. And then the colour… green, the colour of nature, because it is not we who conquer the mountains but they who conquer us. It is we, visionary mountaineers, who imagine that, for love, handholds can materialise under our fingers. It is we, crazy idealists, who think that dreams can be realised with passion. We believed in this and continue to believe in it.
